Guidelines for Consigning at
Our Friends' Closet
Merchandise is accepted by appointment only
Our Friends' Closet is interested in top of the line name brand merchandise. We are interested in high end mall brands and designer label clothing, handbags, footwear and accessories.
We don't accept fakes and please no garage sale leftovers. Our goal is to merchandise designer brands in "near new" condition. (don't misunderstand us...we will take brand new items!) Keeping this in mind, please accept a few suggestions:
No Stains, holes, tears or heavy wear
Garments must be cleaned and pressed and free of any and all odors
Bags or boxes of clothing are a non-starter, all clothes must come in on hangers except jeans and sweaters.
We establish the pricing and reserve the right to re-price and discount at our discretion during the 90 day consignment period. The consignor receives 45% of the selling price and can receive payment via check or spend the money in our store and receive a merchandise credit. Our Friends' Closet is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. It is the responsibility of the consignor to pick up unsold items after the 90 day consignment period. After 90 days, the merchandise becomes the property of Our Friends' Closet and may be donated/disposed without further notice.
